Concourse Hall is a dance hall built specifically for dance groups in the Ann Arbor area. It features 2800 square feet of dance space on a sprung wood floor. Ample parking is available on site.
The Michigan Union opened in 1919, and is one of the oldest student unions in the country. The spacious ballroom floor is touted as one of the finest in all of Michigan.
The Michigan League Ballroom has one of the largest, most beautiful floors in Ann Arbor. It is regularly used for Ann Arbor swing events.
The Campus Chapel is a beautiful space, with a wood foor and a high ceiling. It is a new venue for Pirate Swing, but a few years back there were some weekly swing dances held here. We require shoes that will not leave marks or scuff the floor, so please, no hard leather soles.
The Unitarian Church made its debut in 2009 as the late night venue for KissME. It is a sizeable wood floor that is perfect for dance classes. Located just outside of town, it is close to a number of places to easily get food during lunchtime.
The Pittsfield Grange is a beautiful old dance hall, with wood floors and a stage. There is space downstairs for eating and socializing. In order to preserve the floor, no food is allowed upstairs and no beverages are allowed upstairs except for water in closed containers. This venue looks like a little old farmhouse, and there is a good chance you'll miss it the first time you drive past (most people do!). Parking is available on-site.
Come Dancing is a local dance studio for a multitude of dance types. It's a nice sized floor, and has ample parking on site.
